Nollywood star Regina Daniels has sparked conversation after revealing her intention to have another child, despite her highly publicized split from Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress, who married the senator in 2019, shared her thoughts during a livestream with Nigerian TikTok creator Jarvis. She made it clear that she has emotionally moved on from the idea of remarriage.
Desire for a Daughter
Regina explained that while she already has two sons, she feels compelled to add a girl to her family. “I want to have six children and I already have two boys,” she said. “For some reason I have checked my mind out from getting married, but I am going to have a girl and I must have a girl.”
Why a Girl Child?
She elaborated on her reasoning, noting that daughters tend to remain attached to their parents’ home as they age, whereas sons often shift focus to building their own families. “Men will grow, get married, and focus more on building a family. But for women she will always remember home,” Regina stated.
The comments come after a turbulent period in her marriage, marked by allegations of substance abuse and claims of manipulation and physical mistreatment from her estranged husband. Regina has repeatedly denied those accusations, asserting that they were attempts to control her.
Despite the controversies, Regina Daniels remains firm about her future plans: expanding her family with a daughter, irrespective of her marital status.
