Millwall Rejects Ipswich Town’s €20m Bid for Nigeria Winger Femi Azeez
Millwall have turned down a €20 million offer from Ipswich Town for Nigerian winger Femi Azeez amid growing interest in the attacker’s performances. The Lions are holding out for a higher fee as several Premier League clubs also monitor the 24‑year‑old.
Azeez enjoyed an outstanding 2025/26 Championship campaign, netting 11 goals and providing eight assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. His efforts earned him a place in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season.
The winger, who still has two years left on his contract at The Den, made an immediate impact for Nigeria, scoring twice on his debut in the Unity Cup semi‑final win over Zimbabwe. Azeez said he aims to score more goals, create chances, and help the Super Eagles win AFCON and eventually play at the World Cup.
He is expected to feature again when Nigeria face Jamaica in the Unity Cup final on Saturday.
