Peter Obi Fully Disclosed Campaign Expenditures, Says Obidient Movement Coordinator
Yunusa Tanko, National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, stated that Peter Obi is the only presidential candidate who provided a complete account of his campaign spending.
He explained that Obi, together with activist Aisha Yesufu, hired an independent auditor to review their campaign finances and published every amount spent during the election.
Tanko urged the APC and PDP to emulate this level of transparency, noting that such openness builds public confidence in the political process.

Beyond campaign finance, Peter Obi expressed concern over the weakening of Nigeria’s public institutions, citing the removal of former Chief Justice Walter Onnoghen and the Federal High Court’s decision to deregister the African Democratic Congress and other parties.
He argued that these actions erode trust in the judiciary, governance and the economy, and called on judges, lawyers and legal practitioners to defend the rule of law.
In his post on 𝕏, Obi pledged to restore the dignity, independence and integrity of the judiciary, insisting that justice must be impartial, accessible and respected by all.
