Peter Obi Says Three Governors Prevented His State Visits
Presidential hopeful of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, revealed that three state governors have told him not to enter their jurisdictions.
He described the situation as a breach of his freedom of movement, questioning why any official would bar him from traveling within the country.
“I have attempted to visit about three states, but each time the governors said I should not come,” Obi stated. “Do we not have freedom of movement in Nigeria? Why would anyone tell me not to enter a state?”
The former Anambra governor added that he had been warned that his life would be at risk if he proceeded with the visits. “What else do you want me to say? What I am saying is there for everybody to see,” he emphasized.
In a recent podcast appearance, Obi further claimed that every step he takes is being obstructed by those in positions of authority, suggesting a coordinated effort to frustrate his political ambitions.
