A Nigerian woman has come forward with details of her 2018 interaction with well-known content creator Ifeanyin Ogbonna, popularly called Odogwu Asaba. This revelation follows the creator’s arrest amid accusations concerning a 20‑year‑old individual, Favour Agbro.

Odogwu Asaba Detained by Security Agents
On June 1, 2026, authorities allege that Ogbonna lured the woman to Asaba under the guise of offering content‑creation training and assistance with monetising TikTok and Facebook. Instead, he reportedly took her to a hotel, where he sexually assaulted her and inflicted physical abuse. After the incident, she returned home visibly shaken, informed her family, and recorded a video describing her ordeal. Unverified sources claim she later consumed a toxic substance, leading to her death.
Woman’s 2018 Account of Meeting Odogwu Asaba
In a post on her X account (@AlexandraEkeh), the woman described her April 12, 2018 meeting with Ogbonna, expressing relief that she had escaped and wondering what might have happened had she stayed. She recalled that, at the time, he appeared inexperienced and youthful.
Delta State Police Comment on Ogbonna’s Arrest
The Delta State Police Command has confirmed his detention and stated that an investigation is ongoing. Human‑rights advocate Israel Joe noted that the victim told Ogbonna she was a virgin and had no interest in pursuing a relationship with him.
