Frank Edoho Responds to Abuse Allegations
Media personality Frank Edoho has firmly denied the domestic abuse and cheating allegations levelled against him by his estranged wife, Sandra Edoho. In a detailed Instagram post, he stated that the claims circulating online are untrue and emphasized that the issue is now being handled through legal proceedings rather than public debate.
Background of the Marriage
Frank Edoho’s first marriage was to broadcaster Katherine Obiang, lasting from 2003 to 2010 and producing three children. After that union ended, he married Sandra Edoho in 2013. The couple welcomed two children, born in 2014 and 2016.
The dissolution of his second marriage became public knowledge when Frank confirmed that the relationship ended in December 2022. He described the separation as a challenging period and said he stepped away from the spotlight to focus on personal recovery.
Allegations and Frank’s Response
Following the split, both parties engaged in online discussions, with various reports suggesting infidelity on both sides. Sandra later accused Frank of cheating and domestic violence, including claims that she had been threatened. Frank has rejected all these allegations, insisting he will not engage in a public argument.
He explained that he prefers to rely on proper legal processes where evidence can be examined, rather than letting public opinion dictate the outcome. Frank also expressed regret that colleagues, business partners, and others not directly involved have been drawn into the controversy.
Most importantly, he appealed for privacy for his children, urging that they be shielded from any public commentary related to the dispute. He wrote:
“Over the past few days, a number of grave allegations concerning my person have been circulated in the public space.
“I am fully aware of the concern, commentary, and attention this has generated. Let me state, clearly and unequivocally, that the allegations made against me are false.
“At moments such as this, experience teaches that not every accusation merits a public contest, nor does every provocation require an answer in the court of public opinion.
“There are times when restraint is not weakness but wisdom, and this is one of them. I have chosen to address these issues through the appropriate legal channels, where facts, not noise, will prevail.
“Because these issues are now the subject of ongoing legal and investigative processes before the relevant authorities and the courts, it would be inappropriate for me to make further substantive comments at this time.”
Frank Edoho’s decision to pursue the matter legally underscores his intention to let the courts determine the facts while protecting his family’s privacy.
