A Woman’s Unexpected Encounter While Consoling a Grieving Friend
A Nigerian woman recently opened up about an unsettling incident that occurred after she visited a male friend to offer condolences following his father’s passing.
She explained that the friend had reached out to her in tears over his loss, prompting her to go to his home to provide support during his sorrow.
“Seeing him in that state really broke me. Before I knew it, he moved closer and held me in a way that felt strange and unwelcome.”
While she was trying to comfort him, she noticed his demeanor shift from mourning to something more personal, which made her feel uneasy.
She said she quickly messaged a female friend to call her phone as a pretext to leave the residence after sensing he hoped she would stay overnight.
“When I glanced down, I saw he was aroused. I gave him an excuse to go, and he replied, ‘I thought you were going to stay the night?’ I had only come to pay my respects.”
