Arsenal Accepts €20m Beşiktaş Offer for Leandro Trossard
Arsenal have reportedly agreed to a €20 million bid from Turkish champions Beşiktaş for Belgian forward Leandro Trossard. The final decision now rests with the player himself.
The 31‑year‑old winger has been the subject of transfer speculation for several months, even though he remained a regular option for Mikel Arteta towards the close of the last campaign.
According to Sporx, via Football Place, Beşiktaş president Serdal Adalı and sporting director Önder Özen have stepped up their pursuit after marking Trossard as a primary target. The Turkish side have matched Arsenal’s valuation, moving negotiations onto personal terms while they await the player’s response.
Trossard is not lacking alternatives. Saudi Arabian club Al‑Diraiyah are also said to be ready to meet Arsenal’s asking price and have tabled a more lucrative contract, reportedly offering around €10 million net per season. Beşiktaş, by contrast, are prepared to pay roughly €7 million annually.
The Gunners are open to selling as part of a broader overhaul of their attacking options. While Trossard remains a valued squad member, Arsenal view the proposed fee as strong business for a player entering the later stage of his career. Ultimately, any transfer hinges entirely on the Belgian’s approval.
Trossard is currently on international duty with Belgium at the World Cup and is expected to delay any decision on his future until the tournament concludes.
