The actress explained that her comment was purely a congratulatory gesture toward Luminee, whom she knows professionally. She noted that the designer had created a dress for her a few months earlier, which was the extent of their interaction.
Seeing the birth announcement on her timeline, Annie reacted with a heart emoji to celebrate the new mother. She said she had no knowledge of any personal matters involving Luminee or her relationship with Baba Ijesha, and was therefore taken aback by the backlash that followed.
In her response, Annie expressed confusion over the negative reactions, asking followers to clarify what she might have missed. She emphasized that she was unaware of Baba Ijesha’s past conviction and had no intention of endorsing anything beyond congratulating Luminee on her baby.
