ADC Names Musa Zagi as Deputy Governorship Candidate in Kebbi Ahead of 2027 Poll
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State, Abubakar Malami, has announced Musa Zagi as the party’s deputy governorship candidate for the forthcoming 2027 election.
The declaration was made on Friday in a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary in the state, Engr. Abubakar Atiku Musa.
According to the statement, the nomination was approved by the ADC governorship candidate himself.
The ADC congratulated Zagi on his selection and expressed confidence in his ability to fulfil the duties of the office if the ticket is victorious.
The party described the nomination as a significant milestone in its preparations for the 2027 governorship poll in Kebbi.
The ADC also extended goodwill to all its candidates contesting various elective positions in the upcoming elections.
It urged party members and supporters to stay united and committed to securing success at the polls.
The statement highlighted that unity and collective support would strengthen the party’s chances in the 2027 general elections.
The ADC called for peaceful, free and credible elections across Kebbi State and appealed to the electorate to back its candidates, expressing optimism that the party would deliver purposeful leadership if elected.
