Funke Akindele Warns Eniola Badmus: “If You Can’t Let Me Correct You, Don’t Visit Me”
Nollywood star and producer Funke Akindele took to Snapchat on Saturday to playfully chide her colleague Eniola Badmus after a heated exchange with a makeup artist went viral.
The dispute began when Badmus shared the makeup artist’s phone number on social media, urging followers to call her out. The artist responded, explaining that the appointment had never been confirmed because no advance payment was received. She noted that her policy requires payment before any booking is secured and said she only spoke out after receiving numerous online threats.
In the video, Akindele addressed Badmus directly, saying, “Badosky, why were you misbehaving online?” She reminded her friend that she had repeatedly advised against engaging in online fights and added, “I have told you to stop fighting and abusing people online. What you did is totally wrong. If you can’t let me correct you, don’t visit me.”
The clip drew attention not only for its light‑hearted tone but also for the underlying message about maintaining respectful behaviour on social platforms.
Separately, Badmus recently denied a circulating allegation that labelled her a “private pimp.” The claim, accompanied by her photos, accused her of linking young women to directors, executives, and politicians for exploitation and suggested that this network helped her gain a foothold in politics.
Responding on 𝕏 (formerly Twitter), Badmus dismissed the rumor as false and attention‑seeking, stating that the appropriate authorities would intervene if any wrongdoing existed.
The episode highlights how quickly personal disagreements can spiral into public spectacles in the entertainment industry, and underscores the importance of private correction over public confrontation.
