A young Nigerian innovator has launched a Smart AI Tracking System that monitors the whereabouts of people, vehicles, and livestock in real time.
The creator, known on X as Khalifa Aminu, presented the gadget on the social platform, noting he assembled it in his modest workshop and is seeking partners or investors to refine and bring it to market.
He explained that the device blends GPS technology, a SIM card, and artificial intelligence to deliver live location updates while analysing movement patterns for anomalies.
How the AI Detects Unusual Movements
According to Khalifa, the system goes beyond basic GPS tracking.
Its built‑in intelligence learns regular travel paths, measures distance covered, and flags any sudden deviation from the norm.
He added that if a youngster wearing the tracker is abruptly moved to an unfamiliar location, the unit recognises the atypical motion, triggers an alarm, transmits the current coordinates, and warns that a kidnapping may have occurred.
He said, “I have developed a device capable of tracking anything, anywhere. Dubbed the Smart AI Tracking System, it relies on GPS, a SIM card, and AI.”
“It can be slipped into a child’s bag, a vehicle, or on livestock so they can be monitored continuously. Its true power lies elsewhere.”
“The internal AI studies habitual routes, watches the distance travelled, and notices any irregular shift.”
“Should a child be abducted and taken to an unknown place, the system sounds an alarm, instantly shares the location, and alerts that a kidnapping may have taken place.”
“The same principle works for animals such as cattle; it can spot them in real time if they are stolen or go missing.”
“He urged sharing the invention widely so it can be miniaturised, noting its present bulk stems from numerous sensors and modules.”
“Constructed in his small workshop, he hopes to enhance the design and begin mass production, but that will require support.”
“Any firm interested in investing or collaborating is invited to reach out or tag him so they can discuss possibilities.”
“He thanked everyone for backing the project and helping bring it to global attention.”
