A woman has ignited online discussion after revealing that her marriage ended when her former spouse wed her closest friend.
In a widely shared video, she rejected suggestions that she simply abandoned her marriage without cause.
“It makes no sense to claim she just packed up and left,” she remarked, urging listeners not to rush to judgment about her split.
She explained that she entrusted the matter to God after enduring what she described as pain, mistreatment, and disappointment.
“After all that suffering, after the mistreatment and anguish, my husband went on to marry my own best friend. What does that signify?” she questioned.
She said the situation left her feeling betrayed by the two individuals she trusted most.
“My husband and I are no longer together, and the two people I relied on have let me down. They truly disappointed me,” she said.
She also clarified why she has stayed mostly silent, noting that her upbringing discourages airing private family issues publicly.
“I’m not the type to go public with my side of the story. In our culture, we aren’t taught to expose others like that,” she stated.
The woman dismissed online rumors claiming she suffers from an infection, saying she has no knowledge of such allegations.
Reflecting on the breakup, she noted that both parties had their own reasons for moving forward and maintained that her ex‑husband’s choice to marry her friend was his alone.
“My reasons for leaving and his reasons for marrying my friend are separate. It’s not a major issue; that’s simply what he chose to do,” she remarked.
Despite the hurt, she said she is concentrating on her own happiness and future prospects.
“I prioritize my peace and joy above all, and thank God I am now living a better life,” she affirmed.
She closed by expressing hope of finding love again, adding, “I pray that if I marry again, I will do so rightly, by the grace of Almighty Allah.”
