The Child Will Do More Exploits: Alex Ekubo’s Wife Reportedly Pregnant

The remains of late Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo arrived in his hometown for a wake ahead of his funeral on June 18, drawing friends, family, and fellow industry stars.

While the convoy paused at the palace of the Eze Aro of Arochukwu, the traditional ruler offered a prayer over the casket, speaking in Igbo.

During the prayer, the Eze Aro asked God to preserve Alex’s lineage and revealed that he had received word that Alex’s wife is pregnant. He proclaimed, “The child we hear she’s carrying will do exploits more than his father.”

Although Alex’s family has not officially confirmed the Eze’s claim, the statement has circulated widely online, eliciting a wave of congratulatory messages from Nigerians.
