A Nigerian man has shared details of what he discovered on his sister’s fiancé’s phone three months before their wedding.
The Brother’s Role as Maid of Honor
He explained that, as the maid of honor at the 2019 Port Harcourt wedding attended by 400 guests, he smiled throughout the ceremony because of the information he had uncovered months earlier.
Uncovering Hidden Transfers on the Fiancé’s Phone
While reviewing the phone, he found messages indicating regular transfers of ₦150,000 each month for two years.
Tracing the account led him to a woman living in Warri, who had a four‑year‑old son in 2019.
He recalled confronting the fiancé privately: “I confronted him privately. He didn’t deny it. He just looked at me and said ‘some things are better left alone.’ Then he added, ‘your sister is happy. Don’t be the reason she isn’t. I said nothing.’”
