Fulani Supporter Declares Preference for Peter Obi Over Current Government Ahead of 2027 Election
A self-identified Fulani individual has announced his backing for Peter Obi in the upcoming 2027 elections, stating he would choose Obi over another term of the current administration.
In a widely shared social‑media video, he expressed his view.
“I, Ibrahim, a real Fulani boy, would rather vote for Peter Obi than repeat this government.”
He contended that basing votes on religion or ethnicity has failed to deliver results, urging Nigerians to back the candidate they deem most competent.
He highlighted security challenges, noting that numerous Fulani settlements have endured fatalities, livestock theft, and abductions.
Furthermore, he observed that the viewpoints and lived experiences of Fulani people are frequently ignored in public discourse.
His remarks, in brief, were:
