A married woman has opened up about her emotional conflict, saying she is caught between her supportive husband and an ex-boyfriend who has come back asking for another chance.
Husband Stood by Her During Pregnancy
She explained that her relationship with her ex ended when he refused to accept responsibility for her pregnancy. Later, she met another man who assisted her through the tough time, covering hospital expenses, rent, and other costs until she gave birth.
I Married Him Out of Gratitude
The woman said that the man eventually proposed, and she agreed not because she loved him but because she was grateful for all he had done for her. She noted they have been married for two years and he continues to be a caring and supportive spouse.
She added that despite his goodness, she has never felt love for him.
Ex-Boyfriend Returns
However, her former boyfriend recently reappeared, apologized for denying the pregnancy, and explained his reasons.
She shared her dilemma: “I am standing between the Red Sea. Saying I am confused is an understatement. My ex and I had issues that led him to deny the pregnancy. He denied it, and I had the baby with the help of a very good man who was there for me—hospital bills, rent, everything down to pads. He made sure I was taken care of. He later said he wanted to marry me. I accepted, but not out of love; I believed he was good to me. We got married two years ago and he is doing his best, but I don’t love him at all. My ex later returned and explained why he denied it. He said he wants me back and cannot lose me. I see his sincerity. I am now left to choose. He said he is relocating to Canada soon. If I decide, he will stay back to marry me. My husband is so good; it’s just that I don’t love him at all.”
