APC Victory in Governor Oyebanji’s Polling Unit
The All Progressives Congress (APC) won Polling Unit 003, Ward 06, Okelele, Ikogosi Ekiti, where Governor Biodun Oyebanji cast his vote. The party recorded 326 votes in the unit.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) obtained two votes, while the Action Democratic Party (ADP) and the African Action Congress (AAC) each received a single vote. Three ballots were declared void.
Governor Oyebanji, accompanied by his wife Olayemi, voted at approximately 11:38 am. After casting his ballot, he expressed confidence that the APC would exceed its target of 500,000 votes statewide. He commended the voter turnout and urged residents to remain patient with the Independent National Electoral Commission amid reports of technical glitches, adding that no eligible voter would be disenfranchised.
