President Tinubu and First Lady Join APC Presidential Primary
President Bola Tinubu and his wife, First Lady Remi Tinubu, participated in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election on Saturday. Upon arrival at the venue, supporters sang the President’s campaign song, ‘On your mandate,’ creating a lively atmosphere.
APC Membership Nears 14 Million
About 14 million registered APC members are expected to take part in the exercise, which will be held across 8,809 wards nationwide. APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda recently stated that the party’s membership has grown close to 14 million, with roughly half of the members aged between 18 and 35, making the APC the most youthful party in Nigeria.
Only Two Aspirants for the 2027 Ticket
The ruling party has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu and Osifo Stanley are the only aspirants competing for the APC’s presidential ticket for the 2027 election.
