Popular on-air personality, Tolu Oniru Demuren, widely known as Toolz, recently challenged a social media user. The netizen had advised men to prioritise staying alive. This followed their surprise at the appearance of late actor Jnr Pope’s wife, Jennifer, after his death.
While many people appreciated Jennifer’s improved look, a user identified as Obiasogu David commented. He suggested Jennifer had already moved on, barely a year after her husband’s passing. David also urged men to avoid dying young.
David wrote, “She’s looking so stunning, casually handling an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and looking like she’s already moved on, barely 1 year after losing her husband and bearing the burden of raising three kid-boys. Dear men, do whatever you can not to die young, especially after newly marrying.”
Toolz noticed this comment and openly expressed her strong disapproval of his sentiments.
She responded directly: “Barely a year’ is actually 20 months. Should she lock herself away and mourn forever? When it wouldn’t be unusual in this country for a man to have another wife within the same one year.”
Jnr Pope tragically died in a boat accident. This occurred while he was en route to a movie set. He left behind his wife and their three young sons.
