Talent manager Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, has urged music star 2Baba to seek therapy. This advice comes as the singer faces a troubled period in his marriage. Teebillz stressed the importance of proper support.
Teebillz recounted a significant personal experience. He had returned to Nigeria for his father’s birthday. This was after being away for a long time. During that visit, 2Baba asked him to extend his stay.
2Baba changed Teebillz’s flight ticket. He held him tightly. The music icon then opened up about his deep loneliness. He felt he had no one to share his thoughts with.
Teebillz stated that this candid moment forged a stronger bond between them.
He admitted to fighting his own personal struggles. However, Teebillz firmly believes it is now the right time for 2Baba to talk to a professional.
He issued a warning to the music star. Many great entertainers have suffered badly. This is often because they keep their worries hidden. They fail to seek help early enough.
Teebillz also offered a strong piece of advice. Many observers connected this counsel to 2Baba’s current marital situation. He stated it is better to stand alone. This is preferable to remaining with someone who only accepts your good parts. Or worse, someone who brings out your lowest side.
Teebillz concluded his heartfelt message. He reassured 2Baba of his unwavering love and support.
Teebillz’s Emotional Plea to 2Baba
In his extended message, Teebillz shared a poignant memory. He recalled his first trip back to Nigeria for his father’s birthday. 2Baba had begged him to stay longer. He even paid for Teebillz’s ticket change. 2Baba then hugged him and cried on his shoulder.
“Billy, I’ve had no one to talk to since you left,” Teebillz quoted 2Baba. He said that moment of honesty made him love 2Baba as his big brother. Teebillz clarified he was not there to judge. He acknowledged fighting his own demons.
He expressed belief that their paths aligned for a reason. They have shared deeply personal experiences. Teebillz emphasized, “Now it’s time to get help. Therapy… even clinical support if needed.” He added there is no shame in choosing life.
Teebillz referenced several legends. He mentioned Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince, and Majek Fashek. He noted they all suffered when they did not confront their inner demons.
“I’ve always looked out for you behind closed doors,” Teebillz wrote. He stressed the need for 2Baba to work on himself. This is crucial for both himself and his beautiful children. “They need their father alive and whole,” he added.
He reaffirmed his love for “A Guy,” telling 2Baba he is not alone. “Let’s grow into better men and better fathers together,” Teebillz urged. He reiterated his earlier candid advice. “Honestly… it’s better to stand alone,” he wrote. This is preferable to being with a woman who only loves your best side. Or worse, one who feeds your worst. Teebillz ended his message by calling 2Baba “King Two.”
