A church member claims his pastor exploited him. He purchased paint with his own funds. He completed a full house painting job. Yet, he received no payment. The pastor reportedly said his reward was in heaven.
The man shared his story in a viral video, recounting his experience.

Parishioner Confronts Pastor Over Unpaid Labor
The man stated the pastor asked him to paint. When he sought payment, the pastor refused. He insisted the worker’s compensation lay in heaven.
The parishioner questioned this denial. He had paid for all painting supplies. He found it unjust to be denied earthly wages for an earthly dwelling.
Allegations of Pastor’s Material Wealth Surface
The member also made another serious claim. He alleged the pastor, despite preaching heavenly focus, recently purchased 30 hectares of land.
In the video, the frustrated member recounted his experience directly. He stated, “Pastor asked me to come paint his house. I used my own money to buy the paint. After finishing the job, I asked for payment. The pastor told me my reward is in heaven.” He challenged the pastor, asking, “Did I paint heaven, or your earthly house?” He further highlighted the perceived hypocrisy. “The same pastor who spoke of heavenly rewards purchased 30 hectares of land.”
A video capturing his emotional account circulated widely online.
