United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) has confirmed that social media influencers Martins Otse (known as VeryDarkMan) and Freedom Atsepoyi (known as Mr Jollof) were involved in a physical altercation onboard one of its flights. Both individuals were subsequently handed over to airport security.
Background of the Feud
The incident follows previous online clashes between the influencers. VeryDarkMan had earlier involved Mr Jollof’s wife in their dispute. He made controversial allegations about her personal life.

The confrontation occurred on Monday during boarding. The Asaba to Lagos flight became the scene of a viral altercation. VeryDarkMan later claimed on social media that he “dealt with” Mr Jollof during the incident.
Airline’s Immediate Response
Airline spokesperson Chibuike Uloka confirmed the incident. Crew members responded quickly to de-escalate the situation. Both passengers were deboarded immediately to protect other travellers.
