Juliana Olayode Says ₦100 Million Won’t Change Her Refusal to Kiss On‑Screen
Nollywood actress Juliana Olayode has reiterated her firm stance against performing intimate scenes with any male co‑star, insisting that even a ₦100 million offer would not sway her decision.
She explained that no amount of money is worth compromising her personal principles, adding that the only situation in which she would kiss a man on screen is if he were her real‑life husband.
“Even if you offer me ₦100 million, I won’t kiss any man in a movie. The only exception is if that man is my husband,” she stated.
The actress emphasized that her choice stems from her Christian beliefs and deep‑seated convictions, not from fear of public criticism or concern over industry opinions.
While she respects colleagues who accept romantic roles, Olayode believes every actor should be free to set personal boundaries according to their values and comfort levels.
Restored Friendship with Funke Akindele Attributed to Divine Intervention
In a separate revelation, Olayode credited the renewal of her relationship with senior colleague Funke Akindele to answered prayer.
Speaking with media personality Chude Jideonwo, she shared that she had prayed for years for their reconciliation, not necessarily to work together again but simply to restore goodwill and fellowship.
Olayode noted that Funke had stood by her during difficult periods, which motivated her desire for a renewed bond.
