Kwam 1 Addresses Paternity Allegations Involving 12‑Year‑Old Girl
Kwam 1, whose real name is Wasiu Ayinde, has finally spoken out about claims that he fathered and abandoned a 12‑year‑old girl named Azizat. The allegations surfaced after Ogechi Eleana, who says she was once the Fuji star’s pedicurist, appeared on Feel Right News TV. She stated that she had a seven‑year relationship with Kwam 1, became pregnant, and that he urged her to terminate the pregnancy, offering to pay for the procedure. She said she refused, after which contact with the musician ceased.
During a live performance, Kwam 1 responded without confirming or denying the relationship. He dismissed the claims, suggesting that those spreading the story should continue the discussion on social media. “Turn on Bluetooth, go to TikTok, then Facebook. Anyone with an unwanted pregnancy is just like a giveaway. These children, don’t kill me. Say it on TikTok and other platforms,” he remarked.
Ogechi also claimed that she later sought help from the late Kabiru Agbabiaka, who allegedly contacted Kwam 1 on her behalf. She said she visited the singer’s late mother with the child, and that the elderly woman became emotional upon seeing the girl’s resemblance to the musician.
Azizat, who appeared alongside her mother in the interview, appealed for assistance, explaining that financial difficulties forced her to leave school. She said she has written songs based on her life experiences and hopes to pursue a music career, but lacks the support needed to move forward. The teenager directly asked Kwam 1 to help her and her mother.
