Nollywood star Uche Ogbodo has spoken out about the flood of messages she has received from admirers shortly after news of her second marriage to Bobby Maris appeared to have ended.
The actress made it clear that she is not looking to start a new romance at this time and wishes to take a break before considering any future relationship.

Ogbodo also used her Instagram Story to question why society tolerates a man growing weary of a marriage while condemning a woman who voices the same feeling.
She expressed her own exhaustion and wondered why admitting such fatigue should be viewed as wrong.
The actress further suggested that, in Nigeria, a woman’s happiness in marriage often hinges on having the right connections, and she challenged the notion that choosing to leave a marriage is sinful.

Reflecting on her eight‑year union, she asked whether people expected her to stay for two decades—or until her death—before her pain would be acknowledged.
