Basketmouth Advises Nigerians to Value Life Over Sacrifice
Nigerian comedian and filmmaker Bright Okpocha, widely known as Basketmouth, urged patriotic citizens to put their own safety first, stating that no one should give up their life for the nation.

He shared the advice on his Instagram Story, explaining that staying alive is far more important than becoming a short‑lived trending topic on social platforms.
“Whatever you do in this life, don’t die for Nigeria. You’re more valuable alive than as a trending hashtag. A trending hashtag that might possibly last a few days,” he wrote.
