A man has ignited online debate after declaring he will sue his former wife for allegedly using his identity as a loan guarantor without his permission.
In a circulating video, the visibly upset man explained that he has been bombarded with calls from debt collectors, saying the ordeal has become intolerable and is harming his reputation.
Man Claims Ex‑Wife Put His Name on Loan Guarantee
He recounted that the issue surfaced after an unknown number called him.
The caller told him his name appeared as a guarantor on an unpaid debt.
“When I asked who had used my name as guarantor, they said it was my former wife,” he remarked.
He said the relentless calls have pushed him to consider legal action.
“I have reached the point where I must take legal steps because this embarrassment is becoming unbearable,” he stated.
Concerns About Reputation and Future Liabilities
He warned that being tied to debts he never agreed to could expose him to unnecessary legal and financial troubles ahead.
“If she causes problems elsewhere, they will still mention my name and I could be dragged into trouble,” he said.
He also accused his ex‑spouse of intentionally trying to ruin his reputation, adding that he cannot fathom why someone would be so vindictive.
Intent to Sue Former Spouse and Lending Institution
The man further claimed that collection agents repeatedly harassed him and his relatives, even though they knew who the actual borrower was.
He noted that the situation has been especially stressful while he attempts to rebuild his life.
“I think it’s time to pursue legal action on two fronts — against her and against the people who lent her money, since I don’t understand why I’m being pulled into this,” he said.
He added that he also wants to ensure his former wife no longer carries his surname.
Wrapping up, he urged others to be careful in relationships, saying, “Please avoid wicked spouses. Avoid wicked spouses.”
