Mummy Wa Speaks on Her Single Status and Fictional Crushes
Nigerian content creator and skitmaker Kemi Ikuseedun, widely known as Mummy Wa, has opened up about why she remains single as she approaches her 30th birthday.
She explained that her tendency to fall in love with fictional characters from movies and dramas has affected her real‑life relationships, making it difficult to connect with actual partners.
Mummy Wa noted that she is not alone in this experience, saying many women find themselves attracted to idealised, on‑screen personalities.
When asked about her ideal type, she pointed to South Korean actor and singer Lee Min Ho, famous for his role in “Boys Over Flowers”.
“The reason I am still single is because I keep falling for fictional characters,” she said. “And it’s not just me – a lot of women do the same. But where can we actually meet someone like that?”
“I am almost 30, and I am still waiting for Lee Min Ho. What if I meet him in real life and he turns out to be different from the character I love on screen?”
She concluded by admitting that, for now, her heart belongs to the imagined world of drama rather than to any real‑life partner.
