Billionaire heiress and actress Temi Otedola has revealed that she and her husband, Tosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, discovered they were expecting their first child during their honeymoon last year.
A Surprise on the Honeymoon
In an exclusive interview with People magazine, the 30-year-old actress shared the joyful news, explaining how she and Mr Eazi told their loved ones with a creative ultrasound surprise.
“We are beyond excited to start our family and welcome a little one to our cocoon of two,” Temi said. “We’re feeling extremely blessed and grateful for this big next step!”
She continued: “After wrapping up three weddings in 2025—a court wedding in Monaco, a traditional Nigerian wedding in Dubai, and a church wedding in Iceland—we wanted to end the year with a two-month, digital-detoxed honeymoon, traveling across Korea and Japan. That’s when we found out!”
Sharing the Joy
Temi says sharing the news with family and friends has been an incredibly special experience.
“It’s been the greatest news to share. With our family and friends living across every continent, we shared with as many of them as we could in real life, giving them our ultrasound printouts as a surprise. I also celebrated my 30th birthday this March in Mallorca, and was able to tell most of my closest friends there,” she added.
Keeping Some Secrets
While the couple is keeping the baby’s gender under wraps for now, they have already begun discussing names.
“My husband and I send each other names all the time on WhatsApp. We’ve also asked our parents to give us name ideas, as is Nigerian tradition,” Temi revealed.
Pregnancy Journey So Far
Temi says she is now feeling “stronger and more energized” in recent weeks, but the first trimester was much tougher.
“For the first trimester, I was really feeling the fatigue and morning sickness—well, all-day sickness—but as the months progressed, I’ve been so grateful to feel stronger and more energized,” she said.
Above all, the actress has been embracing the slower pace of pregnancy, especially as “someone who has been moving a million miles a minute for years.”
“I love how pregnancy forces you to slow down. I’ve been gradually slowing down my routine, prioritizing my goals, and looking inward. It’s also a beautiful time to spend with loved ones and celebrate the coming of new life,” Temi shared.
