The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Special Duties, Tunde Rahman, has stated that the president’s performance so far justifies a second term in office.
Speaking on the administration’s record, Rahman pointed out that the reforms introduced by the Tinubu government have freed up financial resources, allowing state governments to launch meaningful infrastructural projects.

He specifically commended Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo for prudently allocating the released funds to improve healthcare, road networks, and education across multiple local government areas.
According to Rahman, Ododo’s initiatives — and similar efforts by other APC‑led states — are direct outcomes of the presidential reforms that have increased fiscal space for sub‑national governments.
“The reforms have freed resources to the sub‑nationals, and that’s why you see these projects happening,” Rahman said. “I believe the President has performed well enough to merit a second term, and his achievements will speak for themselves in the 2027 election.”
