A Nigerian woman residing in Germany ignited online chatter after detailing a strange interaction she experienced with two fellow nationals on a train.
She shared the story in a viral clip, explaining that the episode unfolded as she was heading back home on the U-Bahn, Germany’s metro system.
I’ve Given Up Defending Them
She opened her account by expressing frustration, noting the episode shifted her view of some Nigerian expatriates.
“Nigerian men in Germany will never shake off these accusations. I used to stand up for them, but after what occurred yesterday, I no longer defend them,” she remarked.
She described how two Nigerian gentlemen entered the carriage and seated opposite her; one initiated conversation by requesting her name and attempting to become acquainted.
She mentioned feeling exhausted and uninterested in chatting.
“I was completely worn out and simply not in the mood for conversation,” she said.
Despite her disinterest, the fellow persisted, even asking for a candy, which she obliged.
He Contaminated the Atmosphere
She asserted that when the train arrived at his station, he loudly broke wind before exiting the car.
“Can you fathom what this individual did to me? He let loose a fart. This fellow messed up, and judging by the noise, he fouled the air,” she declared.
She further claimed that he purposefully directed the odor toward her before departing.
“When he rose, he gestured as if pushing the smell my way so it would reach my nostrils. I locked eyes with him; he recognized what he was doing,” she alleged.
She noted that other riders observed the scene and glanced their way.
“Folks were present — not just Black passengers, but white ones too — and they stared at us,” she stated.
Venting her irritation, she added: “Why do you act like this? Why target me? Why does this keep happening to me?”
