Why She Blocked Her Best Friend
She explained that the decision came after her friend traveled abroad without giving her any notice. Although the friend later muted her on WhatsApp, preventing her from seeing status updates, she continued to celebrate her friend’s birthday on social media.
While browsing Instagram, she noticed pictures of her friend’s boyfriend but chose not to ask for clarification. Later, the friend sent a wedding invitation and asked her to serve as a bridesmaid, even requesting that she buy the Ankara fabric for the outfit. The user recalled, “After receiving the invitation and being asked to be a bridesmaid and purchase the Ankara, I simply replied OK and then blocked her.”
