A Nigerian man shared a frightening experience on X (formerly Twitter) where he almost lost his life while visiting a friend. He explained that his friend had served him food during the visit.
He Describes the Terrifying Kitchen Incident
After the meal, the friend offered to clear the plate, but the visitor insisted on washing it himself. While in the kitchen cleaning the plate and a cup, the friend’s mother returned and found him holding her cup. She immediately grabbed a large pestle and tried to strike him; he managed to dodge the blow and confronted her son about the situation.
He recalled, “She returned while I was rinsing the cup, grabbed a heavy pestle and swung at me. I dodged the attack, fled the kitchen, and she continued yelling, questioning why her son let me wash her cup. I wondered what the problem was, but she persisted in her aggression, forcing me to leave immediately.”
He added that during the confrontation, the mother tried to harm him again, but he escaped. Later he asked his friend about the cup, and the friend explained that his mother refuses any help washing it, fearing it might break. He said the incident left him thinking deeply.
