Nancy Isime on Financial Privacy in Relationships
Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has made it clear that she prefers to keep her earnings private when it comes to romantic relationships.
During a recent podcast appearance with media personality Prince Ita, Isime explained that discussing personal income is completely off the table for her.
She said she has no intention of telling a partner how much she earns, nor does she expect him to reveal his own salary to her.
According to the actress, knowing how much a partner makes is not something she deems necessary, just as she sees no reason to share details of her own earnings.
“I never discuss three things: my money, my money, my money. Tell a man how much I earn, never, for what. And I don’t want him to discuss his with me either. I don’t want to know how much he is earning.”

Isime also touched on her views about marriage, noting that she used to daydream about working and being financially independent rather than imagining a wedding.
She added that whether a wedding is big or small, it should be a mutual decision between partners, and she would not feel compelled to check her partner’s phone or demand transparency about finances.
