Femi Kuti Humorously Declines Photo with Korra Obidi After Lagos Concert
Nigerian music legend Femi Kuti humorously refused to pose for a picture with dancer Korra Obidi after a live concert in Lagos.
In a video shared by Korra on her Instagram, Femi Kuti is heard calling his sister, Yeni Kuti, to join the shot in order to steer clear of any controversy.
He explained that he already has enough problems and does not want to spark an online feud, saying, “YK come and enter this picture, I don’t want any problems in my life. I have enough problems. Seems the gods don’t even want this picture, that’s why it’s raining.”
Korra captioned the clip, noting that Uncle Femi does not want wahala, and thanked the Kutis and Bigbird Kuti for the honor.
Separately, Korra Obidi appeared on the One 54 podcast to discuss life in Nigeria, pointing out that weak government support pushes citizens to provide basic services for themselves.
She praised the country’s youthful population and rapid tech growth but blamed poor leadership for slowing progress, noting that many Nigerians now dig their own wells, treat water, and rely on generators or solar power for electricity.
Korra added that families often build their own systems to manage daily life because public utilities are unreliable.
