A Canada-based Nigerian woman, Ezinne Nwanorue, has claimed that her husband, Franklin Nwanorue, remained unfaithful despite publicly swearing a fidelity oath promising not to cheat.
She revealed the accusation in a Facebook post on her page Ezinne Frank Nwanorue, stating she has endured significant hardship in the marriage.
Couple Publicly Swears Fidelity Oath
The pair recently attracted attention after uploading videos in which they vowed to avoid extramarital relationships.
In his clip, Franklin declared that upon moving to Canada he would stay faithful to his wife, invoking death should he break the promise, saying, “I confess and I promise that if I come to Canada and cheat on you, let me die in the name of Jesus.”
Ezinne echoed the pledge, promising to stay sexually faithful to him and warning that infidelity would bring the same fate, stating, “This is me confessing to my husband, Franklin Chimaobim Nwanorue, that I will remain sexually faithful to him, and if I become unfaithful, let me die, in the name of Jesus.”
Wife Alleges Husband Broke Oath
Shortly after the oath spread online, Ezinne asserted that her husband continued an affair with another woman.
She shared a purported comment from a woman identifying herself as Franklin’s side chick, who accused Ezinne of being difficult and claimed the husband had been involved with other females.
Ezinne quoted the comment: “This is a comment from my husband’s side chick in Nigeria. She confessed that even after my husband made his confession, he still slept with one of his side chicks.”
She added that she has suffered greatly in the marriage and blamed her husband for causing her pain even though he facilitated her move abroad.

Ezinne remarked, “My husband sponsored my relocation abroad, and what I owe him is to help him obtain a visa, and God will do it for me.”
Alleged Side Chick Responds
In the alleged message, the woman argued that Franklin needed a partner who would make him happy and accused Ezinne of constantly arguing with him.
The comment read, “No man wants to be with a woman that acts crazy like you. He needs a companion and someone who puts smiles on his face.”
The alleged side chick also claimed that Franklin kept seeing other women despite the public oath, adding, “If you think he won’t or hasn’t slept with another woman then you are a mumu for life. Even after the confession he still do am.”
