Bayern Munich President Herbert Hainer Dismisses Real Madrid Interest in Michael Olise
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has firmly rejected any possibility of Michael Olise leaving the Bundesliga champions, insisting the French winger is not for sale despite increasing speculation linking him with Real Madrid.
Hainer stated that the club would not entertain offers for the 24‑year‑old, even if they surpassed €150 million, stressing that Olise is regarded as a key component of Bayern’s long‑term plans.
“As I’ve said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has an offer in mind, he can save himself the trouble because we do not want to sell Michael Olise,” Hainer said.
He added that Bayern enjoys a very good relationship with Real Madrid and that the Spanish side had contacted him to say they have had no contact with Olise and do not want the constant media speculation.
“He’s a Bayern Munich player with a long‑term contract, and we’re not a selling club,” he concluded.
The remarks come amid persistent reports linking the French international with a move to the Spanish giants after an impressive season for both club and country.
Olise has carried his fine form into the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he has emerged as one of France’s standout performers. The creative winger leads the tournament’s assist rankings with five, two of which came in France’s convincing 3‑0 victory over Sweden.
France have advanced to the last 16 of the World Cup and will face Paraguay as they continue their bid for another global title. With Olise pulling the strings in attack, Les Bleus remain among the favourites to go deep into the competition.
