APC Completes Full Candidate Upload for 2027 Elections
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has successfully uploaded its presidential, vice-presidential, Senate and House of Representatives candidates for the 2027 election ahead of the deadline set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda confirmed the development in a post on his đť•Ź account, congratulating candidates, leaders and party members on the milestone.
“I congratulate our candidates, leaders, and members of APC on the successful 100% upload of our Presidential, Vice Presidential, Senate, and House of Representatives candidates on the INEC Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP),” he wrote.
Candidate Numbers and Next Steps
A total of 471 candidates were uploaded for various positions to contest under the APC platform. With the upload complete, the party’s attention now shifts to mobilising supporters and preparing for a decisive campaign.
Confidence in Tinubu’s Victory
Professor Yilwatda expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure a resounding victory in the 2027 election, citing the party’s registered membership base of about 12 million votes nationwide.
He noted that the overwhelming support Tinubu received during the APC presidential primary is a clear indicator of what to expect at the polls, adding that millions of Nigerians benefiting from the administration’s programmes and projects will further boost the president’s chances.
