A Nigerian traveller has shared a spine‑tingling account of a night journey between Abuja and Enugu, insisting that an invisible seventh passenger accompanied them.

The Police Checkpoint Mystery
She explained that after boarding the bus following a call to the Nigerian Bar, the vehicle carried six passengers plus the driver. Yet at the first police stop, officers questioned why there appeared to be seven occupants.
Despite the group counting only six, the driver was forced to pay a fine before the trip could resume. The same inquiry was repeated at two further checkpoints, sowing confusion and fear among everyone on board.
A Spectral Glimpse in the Mirror
While trying to make sense of the situation, the traveller glanced into the driver’s rearview mirror and caught a fleeting image of a man dressed in white seated at the back of the bus.
Upon reaching Enugu around 5 a.m., the driver asked if anyone had witnessed what he had seen. She confirmed the white‑clad figure, and the driver realised that this was the “extra” passenger the police had been counting.
