Annie Idibia Denies Rumors of Reconciliation with 2Face
The Nollywood actress took to her Instagram story to clarify that circulating videos suggesting she and her former husband, Innocent Idibia (2Face or 2Baba), are getting back together are outdated and false.
Annie emphasized that the clips are old and that false narratives are being spread about a possible reunion and even a third child.
She and 2Face, who share two daughters, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after more than a decade together. Since then, 2Face has married Edo State politician Natasha Osaworu.
Response to Social Media Backlash Over Luminee and Baba Ijesha Post
In a separate incident, Annie reacted to criticism after leaving a heart emoji on a post celebrating the newborn of designer Luminee and actor Baba Ijesha.
Many users questioned her support, citing Baba Ijesha’s past conviction in a child sexual assault case. Annie said she was unaware of any controversy and only knew Luminee professionally, having had a dress made for her a few months earlier.
She explained that she saw the birth announcement on her timeline, reacted with a heart to congratulate the new mother, and had no knowledge of the couple’s personal matters.
