UEFA Champions League Qualification Confirmed
Five Premier League clubs have secured their spots in next season’s UEFA Champions League, thanks to England earning an additional berth through UEFA’s coefficient rankings.
The qualified teams are Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Liverpool. Liverpool sealed their place with a 1–1 draw against Brentford on the final day of the season.
Aston Villa return to Europe’s elite competition after missing out last year, while Manchester United are back in the Champions League for the first time since the 2023/24 campaign.
There is also a chance Arsenal could enter next season as defending European champions, as Mikel Arteta’s squad prepares to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on 30 May.
UEFA Europa League and Conference League Spots
In the Europa League race, Bournemouth and Sunderland have qualified. Bournemouth will make their first-ever European appearance after finishing sixth, while Sunderland’s dramatic final-day victory over Chelsea pushed them into seventh place, granting them only their second continental campaign in history.
Brighton & Hove Albion secured the remaining UEFA Conference League spot after edging Brentford on goal difference to finish eighth.
The final table is now set, with historic payouts and European dreams fulfilled for several clubs. The 2025/26 season promises even more excitement.
