Amosun Declares APC United Behind Tinubu
Former Ogun State governor Ibikunle Amosun has dismissed rumours of internal division within the All Progressives Congress (APC), asserting that the party is speaking with one voice to secure President Bola Tinubu’s re‑election.
Speaking to party members and supporters on Saturday during the APC presidential primaries in Ward 6, Itoko, Abeokuta South local government area, Amosun said the exercise is a demonstration of solidarity for the President.
“Well, you know today is very special. Today is for the President. And we all must come out to show and demonstrate that yes, we are for the President and we are for APC,” he stated.
He added, “So all of us are in sync; we have all taken that position. Today, all of us in Nigeria, not just this place, every ward in Nigeria is doing this, and we have to come participate and do our bit.”
Amosun described the proceedings as orderly, emphasizing that there is no dissension and that everybody agreed the President should continue his good work.
