Alleged Land Deal in Abuja
He took to Instagram to revive a 2024 accusation linking Chinda and former Rivers State governor Nyesom Wike over a contested Abuja land parcel, arguing it highlights concerns about the use of authority and patronage in government.
“Rivers State residents have taken a risky turn. This is the identical Kingsley Chinda I highlighted in 2024 concerning the Abuja land matter, where Wike supposedly granted the plot to him,” he remarked.
According to VeryDarkMan, the property originally belonged to private holders with legitimate documentation before it was allegedly withdrawn and reassigned to Chinda, situated in a strategic zone that could later yield considerable profit.
Claims of Political Manipulation
He also contended that the Rivers State political apparatus is being steered behind the scenes for dominance, implying that leadership selections are shaped by covert influences.
“Wike allegedly stripped the land from its rightful owners who possessed original papers, then transferred it to Kingsley Chinda, potentially to resell later for millions owing to its advantageous location. This illustrates how the same individual is being positioned to assume control of Rivers State,” he added.
Criticism of Tinubu and Wike
The commentator further claimed that Wike obstructed the incumbent governor, Siminalayi Fubara, due to Fubara’s refusal to submit to his authority, sparking political strain within the state.
He also blamed President Bola Tinubu for the deteriorating national governance, asserting that leadership has declined under his administration.
