Godson, an associate of Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer Wizkid, recently shared a concerning conversation. It was with legendary artist Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
Godson posted a screenshot of the chat on his Instagram story on Thursday. He expressed worry about the issues between 2Baba and Natasha. He strongly advised 2Baba to resolve them. Godson emphasized the impact on their growing children.
Godson’s message read: “All of this drama is not right, baba. You need to fix up. Think about your amazing kids. This internet ‘Nollywood drama’ or ‘cruise’ is enough.” He added, “There’s a parable in Benin: shame does not catch a thief like his family. This humiliation is too much. STOP it and wake up.”
He concluded with a note of disappointment. Godson stated: “This is not the same man who introduced me to biggest bird, please.”
2Baba responded to Godson’s concerns. He thanked him for his love and care. The singer then admitted to feeling overwhelmed. He stated, “I just wan kuku just mad” which translates to “I just want to go mad.”
2Baba’s message began: “Thanks for all the love, Uyi. We will all be alright eventually.” He continued, “I am super proud of you as you progress, bro. I always appreciate your love and concern.” He then confessed, “I just want to go mad. Please, I’m sorry for disappointing you and causing stress.” 2Baba concluded, “Don’t worry yourself, please. You have tried.”
