Prominent Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, recently criticized President Bola Tinubu. He spoke about Nigeria’s worsening national condition.
Edochie shared his concerns on Facebook. He highlighted the growing threat of banditry across the nation. Kidnappings, he noted, are now a daily occurrence.
He also lamented the soaring prices of goods. Nigerians, he stated, face unbearable suffering.
Edochie Questions “Renewed Hope”
In a direct message to President Tinubu, Edochie questioned the administration. “Is this the renewed hope you promised Nigerians?” he asked. He pointed to widespread blood spilling by bandits. Many Nigerians are kidnapped daily. The cost of living is extremely high. This suffering is truly unbearable.

Actor Also Concerned About Igbo Language Decline
Beyond national governance, Edochie also recently voiced concerns. He spoke about the dwindling use of the Igbo language. This affects the younger generation.
The father of five noted a sad trend. Many Igbo children cannot speak their mother tongue today. He views this as a collective failure. Parents and communities must address it urgently.
