Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has publicly pledged her support to music icon Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia. This follows recent reports of marital challenges involving the legendary artiste and his wife, Natasha.
Reports suggest that 2Baba’s marital difficulties surfaced during a visit to the United Kingdom. There, he and his wife, Natasha, reportedly engaged in a heated dispute. This incident allegedly led to police involvement and 2Baba’s brief arrest.
The couple’s marital tensions resurfaced publicly during an Instagram Live session. Broadcaster Daddy Freeze hosted the session. During the broadcast, 2Baba and Natasha were seen arguing openly on camera.
In response to 2Baba’s alleged online plea for help, Teni shared a video on her Instagram page. In the video, she called upon fellow Nigerian music stars Timaya and Kcee. She urged them to join her in offering support to 2Baba.
Teni reassured the ‘African Queen’ crooner of their collective readiness. She promised to help him navigate through his current situation.
She emphatically stated, “2face my legend, we’re coming to save you from your husband, sorry wife’s (Honorable Natasha) house. Right now we need more than Davido Lambo to save 2 Face.”
However, in a significant turn, 2Baba himself has dismissed claims of appealing for help. He denied making any social media post seeking intervention in his union with Natasha.
In a recent video shared online, the celebrated singer clarified his stance. He stated unequivocally that he is “perfectly fine.”
