Nigerian actress and billionaire heiress, Temi Otedola-Ajibade, recently shared her views. She discussed how her husband, Mr Eazi, should interact with his former partners.
She spoke on the popular show ‘How Far’. The fashion enthusiast confirmed her comfort with Mr Eazi being friendly with ex-girlfriends. However, she stressed one crucial condition: boundaries must always be respected.
Ajibade defined a clear line. Polite communication is acceptable. Sending a simple birthday message is fine. But she finds other actions uncomfortable. These include monitoring social media activities or ‘liking’ old pictures.
She explained her perspective further. “You can be nice to the person. For instance, wish them a nice, happy birthday text,” she stated. “But when you start liking their pictures online, monitoring their status, or uploads, that’s being too extra.”
She also added a specific point. “I’ll have no personal issue with my husband if he is friendly with his exes,” she said. “This is especially true when the break-up wasn’t messy.”
Temi and Mr Eazi’s wedding generated significant public interest. They held elaborate ceremonies in Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland. Temi, daughter of prominent businessman Femi Otedola, also previously spoke about taking her husband’s surname. She called it a personal and natural choice for her.
She further emphasized respecting every woman’s individual decision. This applies to their own name after marriage.
