Peter Obi Says Bola Tinubu Is Too Tired for 2027 Election
During a Channels Television interview on Sunday, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), stated that President Bola Tinubu lacks the energy needed to run in the 2027 general election.
Obi argued that the Tinubu who governed Lagos State is not the same individual occupying the presidency today, describing him as tired and in need of rest.
He lamented the declining trust Nigerians have in their leaders and called for a restoration of confidence through leaders of integrity and accountability.
The former Labour Party presidential candidate insisted that Tinubu is steering the country nowhere and does not possess the capacity to improve Nigeria’s fortunes.
“As it stands, Bola Tinubu is leading us nowhere. He should step aside and be allowed to retire in peace,” Obi added.
