She shared in a TikTok clip that she had been chatting with the gentleman for roughly a month before he extended the invitation. She even suggested a pleasant restaurant for their meeting.
During their conversation, he proposed a Dutch date, meaning each would cover their own expenses.
Her Response
Quoting her, she said: “I was on my own. You insisted on us going for a date, and all of a sudden you’re introducing Dutch dates. If I wanted to go out and spend my money, I wouldn’t need a random man to take me out. I would simply settle myself.”
She expressed confusion about why she should dress up and look good for someone who still expected her to pay her share on a date he initiated.
She added that she felt relieved he brought up the idea beforehand, prompting her to block and delete his contact immediately.
She remarked, “I’ll leave my house, prepare, do my hair, lashes and everything, then you’ll tell me you want a Dutch date? If you cannot sort the bill on a first date, what exactly are you bringing to the table? Thank God he asked before the date because I blocked and deleted his number immediately.”
